Aluminum Heat sinks

MATERIAL

Unless specified otherwise standard material for profiles – heat sinks is Aluminum Alloy AlMgSi0,5. Profiles are manufactured according to DIN17615 standard, and hardened according to DIN1748.

PROTECTION

We offer following heatsink protection:
N – no protection,
E – black anodized,
S – clear - natural colour anodization.

TECHNICAL DATA

If we really want to get the optimum characteristics of semiconductors, we need to mount them on the heat sink. Consequently we enlarge the cooled surface of semiconductors and reduce their temperature.
Heat drainage from the heat sink depends on its form, size, type of material protection and the way of assembly. If the heat drainage from the heat sink is not satisfactory, we can enlarge the heat drainage by setting up a fan.

Thermal performance figures given in the catalogue state thermal performance for black anodized heat sinks vertically mounted with natural heat conversion.

HEAT SINK PROCESSING

Heat sinks are custom made, according to your drafts. Hole tolerance is 0.2mm, according to DIN 7168 standard.
Throo threaded holes are made before anodizing, blind holes after. If tolerance for threads 6H are required, they are threaded after anodizing.
Anodizing is a procedure, after witch white spots can be left in the areas of contact. That is why these spots are coloured with black paint.
